Upgrade

Sunday, January 28th, 2007

I upgraded WordPress to the latest version tonight. No other news aside from that. Sorry; life is busy. If you haven’t seen it before, you should check out the Sixth World Wiki, a wiki that documents the Sixth World as known in Shadowrun.

Sorry, and a new idea

Friday, May 12th, 2006

I’ve totally fallen off of the wagon with Seattle locations; I’m working 16+ hour days finishing Classic BattleTech’s upcoming new core book Total Warfare.

Thinking towards what will happen after I resume posting Seattle entries and what happens after they’re finished: Who’s interested in submitting SR4-era character/NPC writeups, similar to the ones in the SR4 GM Screen?

Seattle Break

Sunday, April 2nd, 2006

Just a quick FYI that I’m probably going to take a few days break from posting Seattle locations. I have six tons of work on my plate, and one less thing to worry about for the next few days will help keep me just a little bit saner. I think I’ll be back posting by Wednesday.

What does everyone think of the [near]-daily postings, in general? Is it a useful/interesting way of putting out material? I have to admit, comments have been lighter than I expected. Are people confused about whether they should be posting IC or OOC in response to these entries? I don’t care which you do, since both would make sense in this case. So, if you feel like it, go back and make a comment on one of the entries, or just make a comment here to say if you like or dislike things.

Oops — commenting

Tuesday, March 14th, 2006

For some reason I had comments turned off on all the Seattle posts; that wasn’t my intent. I’ve gone back and turned commenting on for all of them.

Upgraded

Sunday, February 5th, 2006

I just upgraded the software that runs the TSS site to the latest version of WordPress; it’s currently using the default stylesheet, but I’ll fix that up shortly.

Not Dead Yet

Saturday, April 16th, 2005

Hey folks … obviously, we’ve been silent for awhile now, longer than I’d like.

As most people reading this know, Shadowrun Fourth Edition has been announced, and both myself and Elissa are on the design team. This — along with other work in the industry [The largest book I’ve ever designed and done art direction for, Dreaming Cities: Tri-Stat Urban Fantasy from Guardians of Order was just released!] — has been keeping me plenty busy.

We do have plenty of stuff in the pipe, though. Now, if I only had eight days a week …

Dumpshock Donation Drive

Friday, February 18th, 2005

Dumpshock.com is currently holding a donation drive to cover the costs of a new server. If you’re a reader of The Shadowrun Supplemental, or any of the other sites that Dumpshock.com has been hosting for years, please consider visiting Dumpshock.com and dropping a few dollars towards the fund.

Status Update

Thursday, January 20th, 2005

Just a quick note about upcoming stuff … well, it’s coming! As many Shadowrun Supplemental readers already know, I was laid off from my day job in the middle of December, and I’m back to being a full-time freelancer. This is a mixed blessing for the Shadowrun Supplemental - on one hand, I have to spend more time looking for work and shuffling between projects. On the other hand, I’m free of the “9 to 5″ cycle, so I can work on Shadowrun Supplemental stuff when the mood strikes - providing that I also find time to do my other work.

We’ll have a new article - The Good Fight: A Short Guide to Superheroic Roleplaying in the World of Shadowrun - online before the end of the week - it’s in editing right now, and hopefully something else the week after that.

We’re Back!

Thursday, December 23rd, 2004

After some downtime, The Shadowrun Supplemental is back online, thanks to some speedy system administration work from Mark Imbriaco. Our next release should be available before the middle of January, so keep an eye on the site for it!

Upcoming Archetype Article

Wednesday, November 3rd, 2004

I totally promised the first article in the new format for November 3rd, but I just looked at my clock and realized it’s technically November 4th in my timeline, and I’m still not finished some last-minute editing and I’m dead tired. So let’s say November 5th, instead.
