Patrick Goodman’s The Good Fight: A Short Guide to Superheroic Roleplaying in Shadowrun is now available in HTML format. This article takes a look at running Shadowrun from a more benevolent perspective, and includes a detailed list of inspiring reference works, both in the comic and film mediums.

Random Atmosphere Generator for Omnihedron

Wordman has whipped up a version of the Shadowrun Random Atmosphere Generator that works with his dice rolling and list management software Omnihedron.

You can download the SR Random Atmosphere Generator Omnihedron XML file from our site, and Omnihedron itself from DivNull Software. For those of you that haven’t heard of it before, Omnihedron’s features include:

  • Complex list rolling, including sub-tables.
  • Supports user-defined XML lists.
  • Nearly limitless dice combinations.
  • “Open” or “exploding” dice support.
  • Tests against target numbers.
  • Optional graphing of dice statistics.
  • Multiple random number generators.
  • Customizable interface.

It’s a Windows program only right now, but rumour on the street says that an OS X version is in the works …
